On the occasion of May 1st, International Workers’ Day, we extend our warmest and most beautiful congratulations to all workers of Kurdistan, especially the tireless environmental workers.
As a tribute to the duty and hard work of this struggling class, a group of pharmacy department students from our institute, in coordination with the Raparin Region Environmental Protection Directorate, carried out an extensive cleaning campaign at tourist sites.
This activity, which included protecting the environment of Galazarda Mountain, had the main objective of reducing part of the burden on environmental workers and spreading the culture of protecting our homeland’s nature. We hope this step will be an encouragement for everyone to together provide a healthier and cleaner environment.
This announcement celebrates International Workers’ Day by highlighting pharmacy students’ environmental cleanup campaign at a local mountain tourist area, honoring workers while promoting environmental stewardship.
